Deleting your Kinno account
You can delete your account yourself, at any time, in the app:
- Open Kinno and go to Profile.
- Tap Settings, then Delete My Account.
- Tap Delete My Account again and confirm.
What happens next
- You're signed out right away, and other members can't see you anymore.
- Any pods, events and pod requests you have are released. If you're hosting an event, it's cancelled and the people booked on are told.
- You have 30 days to change your mind. Signing back in during that time restores your profile, history and connections.
- After 30 days your profile and personal details are deleted, and this can't be undone.
- Messages you've already sent stay visible to the other person for 90 days, no longer linked to your name.
- Some records of past activity are kept without your name attached. Safety reports and staff records are kept in full, to keep the community safe.
Signed in with Apple, Google or Facebook?
Deleting your Kinno account works the same way. You can also remove Kinno from that account's own settings, which stops it being used to sign in.
Can't get into the app?
Email support@kinnoapp.com from the address on your account, and we'll delete it for you.
An account can't be closed while a safety report about it is under review.
